$2billion of DoD’s Iraq War spending unaccounted for (oops) source
» Audit time! With the Iraq War’s chapter effectively closed, now’s apparently a good time to look back at all the money we spent there. There’s a problem, however: Of the $3 billion the Iraqi government set aside for…
Whats more upsetting is that after reading this my response was, “Ha, that sounds about right” instead of being outraged.
I just saw the American remake of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and I couldn’t be more disappointed. I ate a fire cracker before going into the theater so about a quater of the way into the movie my thoughts were limited to the following for the remainder of the film:
-Oh god this is a weird body high. This seat feels amazing.
-Why does everyone in this movie have a strangely British accent?
-What kind of a name is Rooney? Plz to eat moar sandwiches.
-HOLY SHIT WHY IS THE ONLY THING THAT STANDS OUT IN A POSITIVE WAY IN THIS MOVIE THE SCORE?!
Over all, Stellan Skarsgard is pretty good in the role of Martin and the score was consistently awesome. The American version of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is over stylized, poorly paced, and worst of all dumbed the fuck down. Please start giving the audiences’ intelligence a little more credit no matter how much they don’t deserve it. In the end it will make for more enjoyable films. Thanks.
